### sec.82 Domestic violence order must include information about weapons The purpose of this section is to ensure that a police officer has as much information available as is possible when the police officer exercises a power under an Act to obtain or seize a weapon. In making a domestic violence order, the court must state as much information as it can about the weapons that the respondent possesses. In this section— weapon includes a thing that a respondent is prohibited from possessing under section 81 (2) . (sec.82-ssec.1) The purpose of this section is to ensure that a police officer has as much information available as is possible when the police officer exercises a power under an Act to obtain or seize a weapon.
