### sec.176M Clerk of court to obtain copies of order and proof of service
The clerk of the court must be satisfied—
the New Zealand order is in force by obtaining a certified copy of it; and
the order was served, or was taken to be served, on the respondent under the Domestic Violence Act 1995 (NZ) .
The clerk of the court must try to obtain the copy and proof quickly, for example, by fax, email or other electronic means.

(sec.176M-ssec.1) The clerk of the court must be satisfied— the New Zealand order is in force by obtaining a certified copy of it; and the order was served, or was taken to be served, on the respondent under the Domestic Violence Act 1995 (NZ) .
(sec.176M-ssec.2) The clerk of the court must try to obtain the copy and proof quickly, for example, by fax, email or other electronic means.
- (a) the New Zealand order is in force by obtaining a certified copy of it; and
- (b) the order was served, or was taken to be served, on the respondent under the Domestic Violence Act 1995 (NZ) .
