### sec.136 Conferral of jurisdiction
A court has jurisdiction—
to hear and decide any application made to the court under this Act; and
to perform any other function or exercise any other power conferred on the court under this Act.
Despite any other law or rule of court, a Magistrates Court in any district may hear and decide a proceeding that has been started in a Magistrates Court in any other district.
(sec.136-ssec.1) A court has jurisdiction— to hear and decide any application made to the court under this Act; and to perform any other function or exercise any other power conferred on the court under this Act.
(sec.136-ssec.2) Despite any other law or rule of court, a Magistrates Court in any district may hear and decide a proceeding that has been started in a Magistrates Court in any other district.
