### sec.117 Person must be taken to holding cell or watch-house
A person taken into custody under section 116 must, as soon as reasonably practicable—
be taken by a police officer to a holding cell at a police station or police establishment and delivered into the custody of the most senior officer on duty at the station or establishment; or
be taken by a police officer to a watch-house and delivered into the custody of the watch-house manager.
