### sec.100S Amendment of police protection direction
A police protection direction may be amended only as provided under this section.
The police commissioner may amend a police protection direction only—
to correct a minor error; or
to reflect a change in any of the following details that has been notified to the police commissioner—
the name, contact details or address for service of the respondent;
the name of the aggrieved or a named person.
The police commissioner may delegate the commissioner’s powers under this section only to a police officer—
of a rank higher than the supervising officer who approved the issue of the direction; and
who was not involved in investigating the relevant domestic violence.
Subsection (3) (a) does not apply if the police commissioner was the supervising officer who approved the issue of the police protection direction.

(sec.100S-ssec.1) A police protection direction may be amended only as provided under this section.
(sec.100S-ssec.2) The police commissioner may amend a police protection direction only— to correct a minor error; or to reflect a change in any of the following details that has been notified to the police commissioner— the name, contact details or address for service of the respondent; the name of the aggrieved or a named person.
(sec.100S-ssec.3) The police commissioner may delegate the commissioner’s powers under this section only to a police officer— of a rank higher than the supervising officer who approved the issue of the direction; and who was not involved in investigating the relevant domestic violence.
(sec.100S-ssec.4) Subsection (3) (a) does not apply if the police commissioner was the supervising officer who approved the issue of the police protection direction.

- (b) to reflect a change in any of the following details that has been notified to the police commissioner— (i) the name, contact details or address for service of the respondent; (ii) the name of the aggrieved or a named person.
