### sec.32 Rule or summons to show cause why a writ of certiorari or prohibition should not be issued to be a stay of proceedings The granting by the Supreme Court of a rule or summons to show cause why a writ of certiorari or of prohibition should not be issued to the District Court, shall, if the Supreme Court so directs, operate as a stay of proceedings in the action to which the same relates until the determination of the rule or summons, or until such court otherwise orders, and the judge of the District Court shall, from time to time, adjourn the hearing of the action to such day as the judge thinks fit, until the determination or until such order is made. s 32 amd 2002 No. 34 s 10 sch 1
