### sch.1-sec.450EI Unavailability of animal at trial
An animal connected with a charge and seized by a police officer is not required to be made available at the defendant’s trial if an adequate prescribed record of the animal is available to the prosecutor for the trial.
A defendant’s trial is not unfair merely because an animal is unavailable at trial because it has been—
sold under a stock disposal order; or
returned to its owner under section 450E (1) (b) after its seizure.
