### sch.1-sec.443D Using or disclosing knowledge of match-fixing conduct or match-fixing arrangement for betting
A person who has knowledge of match-fixing conduct or a match-fixing arrangement in relation to a sporting event or sporting contingency and—
makes a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency; or
encourages another person to make a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency; or
discloses the knowledge to another person who the first person knows, or ought reasonably to know, would be likely to make a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency;
commits a crime.
Maximum penalty—10 years imprisonment.
For subsection (1) (b) or (c) , it does not matter whether a person mentioned in that paragraph makes a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency.
In this section—
relevant bet , in relation to a sporting event or a sporting contingency, means a bet on the outcome of the event or the happening of the sporting contingency on behalf of any person.

(sch.1-sec.443D-ssec.3) In this section— relevant bet , in relation to a sporting event or a sporting contingency, means a bet on the outcome of the event or the happening of the sporting contingency on behalf of any person.
- (a) makes a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency; or
- (b) encourages another person to make a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency; or
- (c) discloses the knowledge to another person who the first person knows, or ought reasonably to know, would be likely to make a relevant bet in relation to the event or contingency;
