### sch.1-sec.443C Offering or giving benefit, or causing or threatening detriment, to engage in match-fixing conduct or match-fixing arrangement
A person who, as an inducement for any person to engage in, or to procure any other person to engage in, match-fixing conduct or participate in a match-fixing arrangement in relation to a sporting event or the happening of a sporting contingency—
offers or gives any person a pecuniary benefit; or
causes, or offers or threatens to cause, a pecuniary detriment to any person;
commits a crime.
Maximum penalty—10 years imprisonment.
For subsection (1) , it does not matter whether any person engages in the match-fixing conduct.

(sch.1-sec.443C-ssec.2) For subsection (1) , it does not matter whether any person engages in the match-fixing conduct.
- (a) offers or gives any person a pecuniary benefit; or
- (b) causes, or offers or threatens to cause, a pecuniary detriment to any person;
