### sec.97 Post-search approval
As soon as reasonably practicable after exercising powers under section 96 , the authorised commission officer must apply to a magistrate in writing for an order approving the search ( post-search approval order ).
The application must be sworn and state the grounds on which it is sought.
The applicant need not appear at the consideration of the application, unless the magistrate otherwise requires.
The magistrate may refuse to consider the application until the authorised commission officer gives the magistrate all the information the magistrate requires about the application in the way the magistrate requires.
The magistrate may require additional information supporting the application to be given by statutory declaration.
