### sec.81J Waiver of claim of legal professional privilege A claim of legal professional privilege is not a reasonable excuse for a person for an offence against section 76 (1) , 81A (1) or 81H (1) if— the person has authority to waive the privilege and waives it; or the privilege is waived by a person having authority to waive it. See chapter 4A , part 5 for the procedure for a claim of legal professional privilege by a person where the person has no authority to waive the privilege. s 81J ins 2024 No. 41 s 12 - (a) the person has authority to waive the privilege and waives it; or - (b) the privilege is waived by a person having authority to waive it.
