### sec.75 Form of notice to produce A notice to produce must state that it relates to— a crime investigation; or a specific intelligence operation (crime); or a corruption investigation; or a specific intelligence operation (corruption); or for a notice to produce in relation to the witness protection function—a crime investigation. The notice to produce may state— that a person acting for the person to whom the notice is directed may comply with the notice; and the person or class of person who may act for the person to whom the notice is directed. (sec.75-ssec.3) The notice to produce must— identify the document or thing sufficiently to enable the person to know what is required; and state how the person may make a claim of reasonable excuse. - (a) a crime investigation; or - (b) a specific intelligence operation (crime); or - (c) a corruption investigation; or - (d) a specific intelligence operation (corruption); or - (e) for a notice to produce in relation to the witness protection function—a crime investigation. - (a) that a person acting for the person to whom the notice is directed may comply with the notice; and - (b) the person or class of person who may act for the person to whom the notice is directed. - (a) identify the document or thing sufficiently to enable the person to know what is required; and - (b) state how the person may make a claim of reasonable excuse.
