### sec.469 Application of former s 374 to particular applications for access to data and records of CJC inquiry
Until the parliamentary commissioner makes a request of the archivist under section 346C(2) in relation to the data and records of the CJC inquiry, a person may apply for access to the data and records under former section 374(2).
Subsection (3) applies if an application under former section 374(2)—
was made before the commencement and on the commencement is not decided; or
is made after the commencement.
If the parliamentary commissioner is satisfied the person has a legitimate need to access the data and records, the commissioner must give the person access to them.
If an application mentioned in subsection (2) is not decided at the time the parliamentary commissioner makes a request of the archivist under section 346C(2), section 346C(5) applies to the application.
In this section—
archivist see section 346C(11).
CJC inquiry see section 346C(11).
former section 374(2) means the provision of that number as in force immediately before the commencement.

(sec.469-ssec.1) Until the parliamentary commissioner makes a request of the archivist under section 346C(2) in relation to the data and records of the CJC inquiry, a person may apply for access to the data and records under former section 374(2).
