### sec.382 Identity documents other than birth certificates
This section applies to a document created in accordance with former section 279 of the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 in relation to a controlled operation relating to a suspected misconduct offence.
As previously enacted, this was a reference to the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 , section 189 (Special provisions about concealing identities of covert operatives). The reference was changed by 2006 Act No. 26, sections 84 and 86.
New sections 146ZF, 146ZH and 146ZI apply to the document as if it had been produced under a request under section 146ZB.
