### sec.359 Crime commissioner
The crime commissioner under the repealed Crime Commission Act 1997 goes out of office as the crime commissioner and as a member of the crime commission on the commencement.
Subsection (3) applies if the crime commissioner under the repealed Crime Commission Act 1997 —
is offered appointment as the chairperson under this Act and accepts the appointment; or
is offered appointment as an assistant commissioner under this Act and accepts the appointment.
The crime commissioner is not entitled to an amount that might otherwise be payable to the crime commissioner because the crime commissioner goes out of office under subsection (1).
This section has no effect on superannuation or leave entitlements.
