### sec.298 Disallowance of guideline
The Legislative Assembly may pass a resolution disallowing a guideline under section 296 if notice of a disallowance motion is given by a member within 14 sitting days after the guideline is tabled in the Legislative Assembly.
On the day set down for its consideration under the standing rules and orders of the Legislative Assembly, the Speaker must put the question that the Legislative Assembly resolve to disallow the guideline.
If the resolution is passed, the guideline stops having effect.
(sec.298-ssec.1) The Legislative Assembly may pass a resolution disallowing a guideline under section 296 if notice of a disallowance motion is given by a member within 14 sitting days after the guideline is tabled in the Legislative Assembly.
