### sec.294 Directions by parliamentary committee to undertake investigation
The parliamentary committee may, by notice, direct the commission to investigate a matter falling within the commission’s corruption functions stated in the notice.
A direction under subsection (1) is effective only if it is made with the bipartisan support of the parliamentary committee.
The commission must—
investigate the matters stated in the direction diligently and in a way reasonably expected of a law enforcement agency; and
report the results of its investigation to the committee.

(sec.294-ssec.1) The parliamentary committee may, by notice, direct the commission to investigate a matter falling within the commission’s corruption functions stated in the notice.
