### sec.279A Delegation of functions of committee chairperson
The chairperson of the commission may delegate the functions of chairperson of the reference committee to the senior executive officer (crime).
If the chairperson of the commission delegates functions as mentioned in subsection (1) , the senior executive officer (crime) is taken to be the chairperson of the reference committee.
This section applies even if the chairperson has appointed a deputy under section 279 (1) .

(sec.279A-ssec.1) The chairperson of the commission may delegate the functions of chairperson of the reference committee to the senior executive officer (crime).
