### sec.238K Provision about agreements and court orders under Family Law Act 1975 (Cwlth)
The Judges Pensions Act , part 2 , division 2 applies to a former chairperson as follows—
the reference to a retired judge in section 9 of that Act, definition entitled former spouse is taken to be a reference to a former chairperson;
information allowed to be given under section 10 of that Act includes information about a benefit for a person who holds office as the chairperson;
section 11 and section 12 of that Act apply whether the person is the chairperson or a former chairperson at the operative time mentioned in the section;
section 13 of that Act applies in relation to a person who is the chairperson at the operative time mentioned in the section and dies while holding office as the chairperson.
However, if a person who is the chairperson at the operative time mentioned in the Judges Pensions Act , section 13 dies before reaching 65 years of age, the pension payable to the person’s entitled former spouse under the section does not become payable until the time when the person would have reached 65 years of age.
