### sec.211 Injury or detriment to witness
A person who injures or threatens to injure, or causes or threatens to cause detriment of any kind, to another person because—
the other person, or someone else, appeared as a witness before the commission; or
the other person, or someone else, gave, or is to give, evidence before the commission; or
the other person, or someone else, complied with, or is about to comply with, a notice under section 81F ;
commits a misdemeanour.
Maximum penalty—255 penalty units or 3 years imprisonment.
