### sec.209 Bribery of commission officer
A person who corruptly gives to, confers on, or procures for, a commission officer a benefit of any kind, or promises to do so, with a view to—
the officer neglecting the officer’s duty; or
influencing the officer in the discharge of the officer’s duty; or
the officer using or taking advantage of the office to facilitate the commission of an offence;
commits a crime.
Maximum penalty—595 penalty units or 7 years imprisonment.
A person contravening subsection (1) can not be arrested without warrant.
