### sec.181 Legal representation and examination
A witness at a commission hearing may be legally represented at the hearing.
A witness may be examined, cross-examined or re-examined on any matter the presiding officer considers relevant by—
the presiding officer; or
counsel assisting the commission at the hearing; or
a person authorised by the presiding officer; or
a lawyer representing the witness.
The presiding officer may allow a person who is not giving sworn evidence at the hearing to be legally represented at the hearing if the presiding officer considers there are special circumstances.
(sec.181-ssec.1) A witness at a commission hearing may be legally represented at the hearing.
(sec.181-ssec.2) A witness may be examined, cross-examined or re-examined on any matter the presiding officer considers relevant by— the presiding officer; or counsel assisting the commission at the hearing; or a person authorised by the presiding officer; or a lawyer representing the witness.
(sec.181-ssec.3) The presiding officer may allow a person who is not giving sworn evidence at the hearing to be legally represented at the hearing if the presiding officer considers there are special circumstances.
