### sec.149 Who may be present at consideration of application The judge must hear an application for a covert search warrant in the absence of anyone other than the following— the applicant; a monitor; someone the judge permits to be present; a lawyer representing anyone mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (c) . Also, the judge must hear the application— in the absence of the person the subject of the application (the relevant person ) or anyone likely to inform the relevant person of the application; and without the relevant person having been informed of the application.
