### sec.138 Provisions applying to committee and committee’s annual report
The Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 , chapter 11 , part 2 , applies to the committee for this part as if—
a reference to a controlled operation were a reference to a controlled operation under this part; and
a reference to an authority for a controlled operation, or a variation of a controlled operation, were a reference to an approval or variation under this part; and
a reference to an offence were a reference to a corruption offence.
As soon as practicable after the end of each financial year, but within 4 months after the end of the financial year, the committee must prepare and give the chairperson of the parliamentary committee a written report on the committee’s activities under this Act.
The chairperson of the parliamentary committee must table a copy of the annual report in the Legislative Assembly within 14 sitting days after receiving the report.
The annual report must not contain information that—
discloses or may lead to the disclosure of the identity of—
any covert operative; or
any person who has been, is being, or is to be, investigated; or
indicates a particular investigation has been, is being, or is to be, conducted.

- (ii) any person who has been, is being, or is to be, investigated; or
- (b) indicates a particular investigation has been, is being, or is to be, conducted.
