5532 Appeals to Court of Appeal—trial judge’s report for
appeal against conviction or sentence
(1) During the hearing of an appeal against conviction or sentence, the
Court of Appeal may ask the trial judge to give the court (through the
registrar) a report on any aspect of the case.
(2) The report is not available for inspection by the parties or anyone else
unless the Court of Appeal otherwise orders on application by a party
to the appeal or on its own initiative.
