### sec.376 Existing direction or order for strip searching of prisoner This section applies to a direction or order given under previous section 26A in relation to a prisoner if the direction or order was in force immediately before the commencement. A direction under previous section 26A(1) is taken to be a direction given under section 35(1) in relation to the prisoner. An order under previous section 26A(2)— is taken to be an order giving effect to a direction under section 35(1) in relation to the prisoner; and may be amended or cancelled by the chief executive. (sec.376-ssec.1) This section applies to a direction or order given under previous section 26A in relation to a prisoner if the direction or order was in force immediately before the commencement. (sec.376-ssec.2) A direction under previous section 26A(1) is taken to be a direction given under section 35(1) in relation to the prisoner. (sec.376-ssec.3) An order under previous section 26A(2)— is taken to be an order giving effect to a direction under section 35(1) in relation to the prisoner; and may be amended or cancelled by the chief executive. - (a) is taken to be an order giving effect to a direction under section 35(1) in relation to the prisoner; and - (b) may be amended or cancelled by the chief executive.
