### sec.344D Appointment conditions
A drug control officer holds office on any conditions stated in—
the drug control officer’s instrument of appointment; or
a signed notice given to the drug control officer; or
a regulation.
The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the drug control officer or a regulation may limit the drug control officer’s powers under this part.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.

(sec.344D-ssec.1) A drug control officer holds office on any conditions stated in— the drug control officer’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the drug control officer; or a regulation.
(sec.344D-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the drug control officer or a regulation may limit the drug control officer’s powers under this part.
(sec.344D-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.

- (b) a signed notice given to the drug control officer; or
- (c) a regulation.
