### sec.340 Guidelines for dealing with information The chief executive must make guidelines, consistent with this Act, for dealing with information obtained by the chief executive under this division. The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure— natural justice is afforded to the persons about whom the information is obtained; and only relevant information is used in assessing the persons’ suitability to be, or continue to be, relevant persons; and decisions about the suitability of persons, based on the information, are made consistently. The chief executive must give a copy of the guidelines, on request, to a person seeking to become a relevant person. (sec.340-ssec.1) The chief executive must make guidelines, consistent with this Act, for dealing with information obtained by the chief executive under this division.
