### sec.319M No property or interest under agreements This section applies if a protected defendant enters into an agreement with a person about the liability of the protected defendant to pay an amount of damages or compensation, however described, in relation to a civil wrong committed by the protected defendant against the person while the person was an offender. The agreement contains the following implied terms— the damages or compensation that must be paid by the protected defendant must be dealt with under this part; the person has no property or interest in the damages or compensation. An agreement between the protected defendant and the person to deal with the amount of damages or compensation other than as provided by this part is void.
