### sec.309 Delegation of powers of proper officer of a court
The proper officer of a court may delegate the proper officer’s functions or powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The proper officer of a court may enter into a written agreement with the chief executive or commissioner governing the delegation of functions or powers by the proper officer to corrective services officers or watch-house officers (within the meaning of section 308 ), respectively.
However, non-compliance with an agreement under subsection (2) does not invalidate a delegation.

(sec.309-ssec.1) The proper officer of a court may delegate the proper officer’s functions or powers under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
