### sec.28G Prisoner and not the State has responsibility for collecting artwork held on behalf of the prisoner
The prisoner, and not the State, is responsible for collecting, or arranging for the collection of, the artwork from a person holding the artwork on the prisoner’s behalf if—
the prisoner is discharged or released from custody; or
the person tells the prisoner that the person no longer wishes to hold the artwork on the prisoner’s behalf.
If the chief executive incurs expense in dealing with the artwork under section 28F (3) (b) , the chief executive may recover the expense from the prisoner.

(sec.28G-ssec.1) The prisoner, and not the State, is responsible for collecting, or arranging for the collection of, the artwork from a person holding the artwork on the prisoner’s behalf if— the prisoner is discharged or released from custody; or the person tells the prisoner that the person no longer wishes to hold the artwork on the prisoner’s behalf.
(sec.28G-ssec.2) If the chief executive incurs expense in dealing with the artwork under section 28F (3) (b) , the chief executive may recover the expense from the prisoner.

- (b) the person tells the prisoner that the person no longer wishes to hold the artwork on the prisoner’s behalf.
