93 Interstate segregated detainees transferred to ACT
(1) This part applies if—
(a) an interstate segregation direction applies to a detainee; and
(b) the detainee is transferred (however described) into custody at a
correctional centre in the ACT.
(2) Despite the transfer, the interstate direction—
(a) continues to apply in relation to the detainee—
(i) as if it were a direction under this part; and
(ii) with any necessary changes, and any change prescribed by
regulation; and
(b) subject to this part, ends 3 days after the day the detainee is taken
into custody at the correctional centre in the ACT.
interstate segregation direction means a direction or order (however
described) that—
(a) corresponds substantially to a direction under this part; and
(b) is in force under a law of the Commonwealth, a State or another
Territory that is declared by regulation to be a corresponding law
for this section.
