### sec.152 How to claim compensation
A claim for compensation must be lodged with the chief executive within 6 months after—
if section 150 (2) applies—the refusal of the application; or
if section 150 (3) applies—the change of use.
The chief executive or the Planning and Environment Court may, in special circumstances, allow a longer period under subsection (1) .
A claim for compensation is to be taken to have been made on the day when it is received by the chief executive.
