### sec.72 Miscellaneous
A coal mine must have standard operating procedures for the following—
fitting, removing, testing, maintaining and repairing tyres and rims on fixed and mobile plant;
recovering fixed and mobile plant after an accident or incident;
assembling and maintaining fixed and mobile plant in its operational location;
carrying persons in mobile plant;
selecting, maintaining and using lifting plant;
marking lifting plant to show its date of manufacture and capacity;
ensuring the safety of persons when plant is being towed;
ensuring the safety of persons involved in servicing, lubricating and refuelling mobile plant;
ensuring the safety of persons when heavy plant and supplies are being transported at the mine.
- (a) fitting, removing, testing, maintaining and repairing tyres and rims on fixed and mobile plant;
- (b) recovering fixed and mobile plant after an accident or incident;
- (c) assembling and maintaining fixed and mobile plant in its operational location;
