### sec.39 Display and sale of objectionable film prohibited A person must not display for sale or sell, or attempt to display for sale or sell, an objectionable film. Maximum penalty— in the case of a film that is or would, if classified, be classified as an X 18+ film under the Commonwealth Act—60 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months; or in any other case—250 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years. s 39 amd 1996 No. 56 s 82 ; 2005 No. 24 s 27 - (a) in the case of a film that is or would, if classified, be classified as an X 18+ film under the Commonwealth Act—60 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months; or - (b) in any other case—250 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years.
