### sec.103G Right of group member to opt out
The court must fix a date before which a group member may opt out of a representative proceeding.
A group member may opt out of the representative proceeding by giving written notice before the date fixed under subsection (1) .
On the application of a group member, the representative party or the defendant, the court may fix a later date to extend the period during which a group member may opt out of the representative proceeding under subsection (2) .
Except by leave of the court, the hearing of a representative proceeding must not start earlier than the date before which a group member may opt out of the proceeding.
