### sec.89 City Botanic Gardens
This section is about the City Botanic Gardens.
The City Botanic Gardens consist of the reserve for botanic gardens and public park that was established by the council under the repealed City of Brisbane Act.
The council is the trustee of the reserve under the Land Act .
The council has the power to—
do anything that is necessary or desirable for developing, managing, maintaining, promoting, or using the City Botanic Gardens; and
permit the use of any part of the City Botanic Gardens, including the erection of any structure, on the conditions it considers appropriate; and
do anything incidental to its powers under paragraph (a) or (b) .
