### sec.299 Application of s 174—elections held on or after introduction day and before 2024 quadrennial election This section applies in relation to an election under the Local Government Electoral Act 2011 held on or after the introduction day and before the 2024 quadrennial election. Section 174 as in force immediately before the commencement applies in relation to the election as if the amending Act had not been enacted. In this section— 2024 quadrennial election means the quadrennial election to be held in 2024. amending Act means the Local Government Electoral and Other Legislation (Expenditure Caps) Amendment Act 2023 . introduction day means the day the Bill for the amending Act was introduced into the Legislative Assembly. s 299 ins 2023 No. 8 s 5 (sec.299-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to an election under the Local Government Electoral Act 2011 held on or after the introduction day and before the 2024 quadrennial election.
