### sec.266 Continued superannuation scheme for council employees This section applies to the superannuation scheme for council employees continued in existence under section 211 of this Act as in force before the commencement of this section. On the commencement of this section— the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in existence under this Act; and the trust deed for the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in force as a trust deed under this Act. If an audit of the superannuation scheme is required under the Commonwealth Super Act because of subsection (2), the audit must be carried out by the auditor-general. s 266 ins 2011 No. 8 s 13 (sec.266-ssec.1) This section applies to the superannuation scheme for council employees continued in existence under section 211 of this Act as in force before the commencement of this section. (sec.266-ssec.2) On the commencement of this section— the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in existence under this Act; and the trust deed for the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in force as a trust deed under this Act. (sec.266-ssec.3) If an audit of the superannuation scheme is required under the Commonwealth Super Act because of subsection (2), the audit must be carried out by the auditor-general. - (a) the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in existence under this Act; and - (b) the trust deed for the superannuation scheme ceases to continue in force as a trust deed under this Act.
