### sec.259 Proceedings and evidence If, immediately before the commencement of this section, proceedings for an appeal, a complaint or an offence could legally have been started under the repealed City of Brisbane Act or a repealed mall Act the proceedings may be started under this Act. Proceedings for an appeal, a complaint or an offence under any of the Acts may be continued under that Act, as if this Act had not commenced. Any document that was given evidentiary effect under any of the Acts continues to have the evidentiary effect as if that Act had not been repealed. (sec.259-ssec.1) If, immediately before the commencement of this section, proceedings for an appeal, a complaint or an offence could legally have been started under the repealed City of Brisbane Act or a repealed mall Act the proceedings may be started under this Act. (sec.259-ssec.2) Proceedings for an appeal, a complaint or an offence under any of the Acts may be continued under that Act, as if this Act had not commenced. (sec.259-ssec.3) Any document that was given evidentiary effect under any of the Acts continues to have the evidentiary effect as if that Act had not been repealed.
