### sec.123A Entry by authorised person, at reasonable times, to inspect regulated pools At all reasonable times, an authorised person may enter a property (other than a home on the property) without permission of the occupier of the property to inspect a regulated pool, and barriers or fencing for the pool, for compliance with— if, under the Building Act , the owner of the pool must ensure the pool complies with the pool safety standard or a part of the standard—the pool safety standard or part; or if paragraph (a) does not apply—a provision of a law that regulates— the construction or maintenance of barriers or fencing for the pool; or another matter relating to the safety of persons using the pool. However, the authorised person must, as soon as the authorised person enters the property— inform any occupier of the property— of the reason for entering the property; and that the authorised person is authorised under this Act to enter the property without the permission of the occupier; and produce his or her identity card for the occupier of the property to inspect.
