### sec.106 Councillor’s discretionary funds A councillor must ensure the councillor’s discretionary funds are used in accordance with the requirements prescribed under a regulation. Discretionary funds are funds in the council’s operating fund that are— budgeted for community purposes; and allocated by a councillor at the councillor’s discretion. s 106 amd 2012 No. 33 s 31 (sec.106-ssec.1) A councillor must ensure the councillor’s discretionary funds are used in accordance with the requirements prescribed under a regulation.
