### sec.85 New South Wales reportable offenders
This section applies to a person who—
was, immediately before the commencement, a New South Wales reportable offender under the pre-amended Act, section 8; and
would, except for the amendment made by the amending Act, have continued to be a New South Wales reportable offender for a period (the remaining reporting period ) after the commencement.
The person is taken to be a corresponding reportable offender under this Act until—
the remaining reporting period ends; or
the person otherwise stops being a reportable offender.

(sec.85-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who— was, immediately before the commencement, a New South Wales reportable offender under the pre-amended Act, section 8; and would, except for the amendment made by the amending Act, have continued to be a New South Wales reportable offender for a period (the remaining reporting period ) after the commencement.
(sec.85-ssec.2) The person is taken to be a corresponding reportable offender under this Act until— the remaining reporting period ends; or the person otherwise stops being a reportable offender.
- (a) was, immediately before the commencement, a New South Wales reportable offender under the pre-amended Act, section 8; and
- (b) would, except for the amendment made by the amending Act, have continued to be a New South Wales reportable offender for a period (the remaining reporting period ) after the commencement.
- (a) the remaining reporting period ends; or
- (b) the person otherwise stops being a reportable offender.
