### sec.99ZG Certain information not to be published
A person must not publish—
information given in evidence or otherwise in a proceeding before the tribunal; or
information that is likely to identify a person who—
appears as a witness before the tribunal in a proceeding; or
is a party to the proceeding; or
is mentioned, or otherwise involved, in the proceeding.
Maximum penalty—
for a corporation—1,000 penalty units; or
for an individual—100 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
Subsection (1) (a) does not apply to—
a person if the tribunal or the president of the tribunal consents to the publication of the information by the person; or
the tribunal publishing its final decision in a proceeding, with or without the reasons for the decision.
The tribunal or the president may only consent to the publication as mentioned in subsection (2) if the tribunal or the president is satisfied the publication of the information—
is in the public interest; and
does not conflict with the best interests of the child.
In this section—
information includes—
a matter contained in a document filed with, or received by, the tribunal; and
the tribunal’s decision or reasons for a decision.
publish , for information, means to publish it to the public by way of the internet, newspaper, radio, television or other form of communication.

(sec.99ZG-ssec.1) A person must not publish— information given in evidence or otherwise in a proceeding before the tribunal; or information that is likely to identify a person who— appears as a witness before the tribunal in a proceeding; or is a party to the proceeding; or is mentioned, or otherwise involved, in the proceeding. (sec.99ZG-ssec.2) Subsection (1) (a) does not apply to— a person if the tribunal or the president of the tribunal consents to the publication of the information by the person; or the tribunal publishing its final decision in a proceeding, with or without the reasons for the decision.
(sec.99ZG-ssec.3) The tribunal or the president may only consent to the publication as mentioned in subsection (2) if the tribunal or the president is satisfied the publication of the information— is in the public interest; and does not conflict with the best interests of the child.
