### sec.99Z Carrying out medical examinations
This section applies if an order under section 99Y authorises a child’s medical examination.
A doctor may medically examine the child.
Subsection (2) applies even though the child’s parents or guardian has not consented to the examination.
However, subsection (2) is subject to the rights the child has in relation to the examination.
For deciding any liability in relation to the carrying out of the examination, the doctor is taken to have the consent of the child’s parents or guardian to the examination.

(sec.99Z-ssec.1) This section applies if an order under section 99Y authorises a child’s medical examination.
(sec.99Z-ssec.2) A doctor may medically examine the child.
