### sec.51AM Effect of temporary custody order on existing child protection orders
This section applies if a temporary custody order is made for a child for whom a child protection order is already in force.
The child protection order, so far as it relates to the child’s custody or guardianship, ceases to have effect while the chief executive’s custody of the child continues under the temporary custody order.
