### sec.38 Application for court assessment order
An authorised officer or police officer may apply to the Childrens Court for a court assessment order for a child.
The application must—
be sworn; and
state the grounds on which it is made; and
state the nature of the order sought; and
comply with applicable rules of court; and
be filed in the court.

(sec.38-ssec.1) An authorised officer or police officer may apply to the Childrens Court for a court assessment order for a child.
