### sec.159C Chief executive must make guidelines
The chief executive must make guidelines, consistent with this Act, for sharing and dealing with information under parts 4 and 5 .
The purposes of the guidelines are to ensure—
information is shared under parts 4 and 5 only for proper purposes; and
to the greatest extent possible, the privacy of individuals is respected when sharing information under parts 4 and 5 , having regard to the principles stated in sections 5A and 159B ; and
information shared under parts 4 and 5 is properly used, stored, retained and disposed of.
The chief executive must publish the guidelines on the department’s website.

(sec.159C-ssec.1) The chief executive must make guidelines, consistent with this Act, for sharing and dealing with information under parts 4 and 5 .

(sec.159C-ssec.3) The chief executive must publish the guidelines on the department’s website.
- (a) information is shared under parts 4 and 5 only for proper purposes; and
- (b) to the greatest extent possible, the privacy of individuals is respected when sharing information under parts 4 and 5 , having regard to the principles stated in sections 5A and 159B ; and
- (c) information shared under parts 4 and 5 is properly used, stored, retained and disposed of.
