### sec.155C Term
An honorary officer holds office for the term, of no more than 2 years, stated in the instrument of appointment.
An honorary officer stops holding office if the officer—
completes a term of office; or
resigns office by signed notice given to the chief executive; or
is removed from office by the chief executive by signed notice given to the officer.

(sec.155C-ssec.1) An honorary officer holds office for the term, of no more than 2 years, stated in the instrument of appointment.
(sec.155C-ssec.2) An honorary officer stops holding office if the officer— completes a term of office; or resigns office by signed notice given to the chief executive; or is removed from office by the chief executive by signed notice given to the officer.
- (a) completes a term of office; or
- (b) resigns office by signed notice given to the chief executive; or
- (c) is removed from office by the chief executive by signed notice given to the officer.
