### sec.148BA Definitions for part In this part— appropriate Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander entity means an entity— that has a function of providing services to Aboriginal persons or Torres Strait Islanders; and whose members include individuals who have appropriate knowledge of, or expertise in, child protection. prescribed delegate , for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child, means a person to whom the chief executive has delegated, under section 148BB , a function or power in relation to the child. s 148BA ins 2017 No. 44 s 48 - (a) that has a function of providing services to Aboriginal persons or Torres Strait Islanders; and - (b) whose members include individuals who have appropriate knowledge of, or expertise in, child protection.
